Just a heads up, because we are on a tight schedule our FTP article will be helpful come "printing stage" (it is an efficient means of file transfers to pro labs.) Have a bit of a squiz and let us know if you have any questions.
ReplyDeletePhoto Tech Trends.
Still not entirely sure what you expect phototech trends to suggest? The brief is too 'brief' and non-distinct. Based on that we could suggest anything. Is that the intention.
ReplyDeleteAndy.
As we said on friday, by this thursday we want brainstorming, so yes you could suggest anything but obvioulsy along the lines of the campaign. So large/medium format film/cameras as posters/billboards require big images, tilt shift lenses if the image was of the architecture etc.

re. FTP
ReplyDeleteplease note that Qld Government will be utilising Project GIRL (Government Imaging Resource Library) for FTP transfers of contact sheets and proofs for client approval.
Please upload relevant data to the folder labelled 'SBIT_GC' via our web server.

For those unsure of what to suggest, please start by checking the latest client requirements and marketing staff suggestions on the b-mphotography blog page.
ReplyDeleteThen refer to previously submitted items on your own site and if there is something of relevance to this campaign, please make reference to it on the marketing blog.
Finally, as new technologies and its uses are emerging every week, continue to research and raise options that will satisfy the client brief - basically increase tourism dollars in Gold Coast region through visual marketing. NP. owyn
Re: GIRL - Government Imaging Resource Library.
ReplyDeleteI am a little unsure of what this is and where I find it? I am happy to research and upload information on behalf of the technology team, however I'm unsure as to what you need from us?
Thanks kindly,
Amanda
